Ingredients
Primal Storm Ingredients: What Is in the 838 mg Blend
Quick answer
Primal Storm has one 838 mg Proprietary Male Support Blend per 2-capsule serving. It holds six herbs: tribulus, horny goat weed, longjack (tongkat ali), Panax ginseng, ashwagandha and yohimbe. The label does not give the amount of any single herb. Research on each herb is mixed, and yohimbe carries real heart and blood-pressure risks.
What ingredients does Primal Storm contain?
Primal Storm contains six plant extracts in one blend. The blend weighs 838 mg per serving of two capsules.
The label calls it the Proprietary Male Support Blend. It lists each herb by its common name and its Latin name. It does not list how much of each herb is inside.

What does research say about the six Primal Storm herbs?
The evidence ranges from promising to thin. None of it tests Primal Storm itself. Here is each herb with the closest public source we could match to it.
| Herb (as on the label) | Sold for | What research says | Main safety note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tribulus terrestris extract | Drive and testosterone | Trials are mixed. The U.S. Defense Department's supplement safety group says no strong evidence supports claims for sexual or athletic performance (OPSS, 2024). | A few cases of severe liver and kidney damage have been reported. |
| Horny goat weed extract (Epimedium sagittatum) | Drive | Very little human data. Most work on its compound icariin is done in the lab or in animals. | Human safety data are limited. |
| Longjack extract (Eurycoma longifolia) | Testosterone | A 2022 review of clinical trials found it may raise total testosterone in men (Leisegang et al., 2022). | Its share of the 838 mg is unknown. |
| Ginseng root extract (Panax ginseng) | Energy and sexual function | Some research suggests it may improve sexual function in men with erectile dysfunction (NCCIH, 2025). | Insomnia is the most common side effect. It may lower blood sugar and affect clotting. |
| Ashwagandha extract (Withania somnifera) | Stress, sleep, testosterone | Limited data suggest 2 to 4 months of use may raise testosterone and sperm quality (NCCIH, 2023). | Rare liver injury. May interact with thyroid medicine. Avoid in pregnancy. |
| Yohimbe extract (Pausinystalia yohimbe) | Erections, fat loss, workouts | There is not enough research to say it helps erections, athletic performance or weight (NCCIH, 2025). | Linked to irregular heartbeat, blood pressure problems, heart attacks and seizures. |
Why can't you compare Primal Storm doses with the studies?
Because the label hides the split. Studies test a known amount of one herb. Primal Storm gives only a total for all six.
If the blend were split evenly, each herb would get about 140 mg. That is a guess, not a label fact. One herb could take most of the 838 mg while another gets a pinch.
| What you would need | Shown on the Primal Storm label? |
|---|---|
| Total blend weight | Yes: 838 mg per 2 capsules |
| Amount of each herb | No |
| Extract strength or ratio | No |
| Amount of yohimbine in the yohimbe | No |
| Standardized compounds (for example ginsenosides) | No |
Which Primal Storm ingredient needs the most care?
Yohimbe does. It is the only herb in the blend with serious heart warnings from a federal health agency.
Yohimbine, its main compound, has been tied to rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, anxiety and stomach upset (NCCIH, 2025). Most yohimbe products do not say how much yohimbine they hold, and this label does not either.
The full list of cautions is on the Primal Storm side effects page.
How do the Primal Storm herbs fit together?
The six herbs fall into three loose groups. Seeing them this way helps explain why the brand put them in one capsule.
Hormone-linked herbs
Longjack, tribulus and ashwagandha are sold for testosterone. Only longjack has a pooled review of trials behind that claim.
Drive and function herbs
Horny goat weed, Panax ginseng and yohimbe are sold for sexual function. Ginseng has the most human research of the three.
Stress and sleep
Ashwagandha is also sold for stress. Ginseng and yohimbe can do the opposite for some people and disturb sleep.
This grouping describes how the herbs are marketed. It is not a claim about what the finished product does in your body.
What does the Inside Primal Storm graphic show?

The listing graphic lists six topics: product formula, daily routine, supplement facts, label directions, bottle label and adult use.
It does not name a single herb. For the real list, the back of the bottle is the only source. That is the list used on this page.
- Six herbs, one 838 mg blend
- Three inactive ingredients
- No single-herb amounts
- No yohimbine amount
What should you check before taking Primal Storm ingredients?
Read the back label
Match the six herbs on your bottle to the list here. If they differ, stop and call the order desk.
List your medicines
Bring the list to your doctor or pharmacist. Yohimbe, ginseng and ashwagandha each have known interactions.
Count other products
Drop any other yohimbe, pre-workout or high-caffeine product while using Primal Storm.
Keep to the label dose
Two capsules a day between meals. Taking more only raises your intake of yohimbe and the other herbs.
Primal Storm ingredients: common questions
How many ingredients are in Primal Storm?
Six herbs make up the active blend. Three more items are listed as other ingredients: silica dioxide (as printed), rice flour and magnesium stearate.
Does Primal Storm contain tongkat ali?
Yes. The label calls it longjack extract and gives the Latin name Eurycoma longifolia. Tongkat ali is another common name for the same root.
How much yohimbe is in Primal Storm?
The label does not say. Yohimbe is one of six herbs in an 838 mg blend, and no single amount is shown. The yohimbine content is not stated either.
Is there caffeine in Primal Storm?
Caffeine is not listed on the label. Yohimbe and ginseng can still make some people feel wired or keep them awake.
Is Primal Storm vegan?
The label does not say. The capsule shell material and an allergen statement are not published, so a vegan or vegetarian status cannot be confirmed.
Why are the herbs listed in that order?
Blend items are usually listed from the most to the least by weight. Without amounts, you still cannot tell how much of each is present.
Is the full Primal Storm formula studied?
No study of the finished Primal Storm formula has been published. The research on this page covers the single herbs, not the product.
